I grew up watching the sun set over the ocean from the Fleurieu peninsula. Here, on Yorke peninsula the colours of the sunset are thrown against the western sky in unbelievably vivid hues as the jetty (pier :)) stretches nearly 900 feet into the St. Vincent Gulf. I'd never seen anything like it!
